What is it: A gong bath also known as a Sound Bath is a fully clothed, relaxing and blissful experience where your cells resonate in the healing sound waves of Tibetan Sound Bowls. No 'baths' involved. It works on the principle that all matter in the universe vibrates. You will relax by lying down on a yoga mat (usually with a blanket tucked-in and an eye-mask), whilst I guide you through mindfulness meditation/visualisation techniques and ‘bathe’ you in different vibrations and melodies of the Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, chimes and other musical instruments for your stress, worries and tensions to fade away. Who is it for: Tibetan Sound Bath is a method of gentle relaxation for anyone looking to reduce stress, enhance mindfulness and breathwork practice. It is particularly beneficial for people who want emotional healing, overcome burnout, and those seeking a spiritual connection between inner-self and the universe. It also offers a shared therapeutic experience, enhances focus and fosters a sense of teamwork amongst corporate groups & teams. |
Why will it help: The calming effect and the vibrational properties of the Tibetan Singing bowls helps individuals to align to the soothing tones and resonance of the frequencies. While research on the benefits of Tibetan Sound baths is still emerging, current studies have shown a significant increase in deep state relaxation in a short period of time, often under 20 minutes.
